F.R.O.D.O.Kids WellBeing Campaign launch at the House of Commons on 3rd June 2010.

F.R.O.D.O. works with disabled and abandoned children in some of the poorest countries in Europe, with a particular focus on Romania. 19,000 kids are still living in state institutions in Romania. 10,000 of these are disabled.

There is no one waiting to adopt or foster these children, and there never will be. Their only hope is for charities like F.R.O.D.O. to help improve their lives where they are. Our programme of Institutional Transformation – going into orphanages and training staff, transforming the lives of the kids there – has been one of our most astonishing success stories to date. So much so that the Romanian Government has asked F.R.O.D.O. to be involved in developing a model of best practice to be rolled out across the country and hopefully beyond.

Our response to this huge need is the F.R.O.D.O.Kids Wellbeing Campaign – intended to raise awareness of this work, both politically and within the corporate world. These children are a two hour flight away, they are EU citizens and they are on our doorstep. They need our help. Click here to help
