Vasile was abandoned at birth, born with a condition called “Arthrogryposis” which causes crippling in most of those with the disease. His wrists are “malrotated”, so that his hands appeared to be connected to his arms at a different angle and he had club feet, which meant he was unable to walk.

Vasile continues to make good steady progress, he is enjoying going to nursery with his brothers and sisters every morning and continues to receive physiotherapy in the afternoons at the safe home where he lives. Vasile is very proud of his progress and enjoys showing everybody how mobile and agile he is.
