Aged 9, suffers from Achondroplasia which is a form of dwarfism and because of his extremely bowed legs, he was finding walking more and more difficult with increasing pain. His surgery straightened his legs which not only now look better but mean he has a more efficient way of walking, making it less tiring for him. It also means that the arthritis that would have been inevitable without the operation has been avoided and he is no longer in danger of being in a wheelchair.
