Cristina is a native Romanian and has studied Psychology and Finance at the University of Bucharest. She has 17 years of experience working with children – mostly street children from Romania.
She started as a volunteer with “Orasul Sperantei” (City of Hope), a Romanian NGO, in 1994, and later became fully involved, acting as a Project Coordinator and as a Board member.
Cristina and her husband have adopted 3 children besides their own and many other children have found temporary shelter in their family after living on the street.
Cristina has also worked as a Director of the Music Camp International Association but for the last three years has stayed at home with her wonderful young boys.
Cristina believes that ‘investing in them when they are young is the key to mature and responsible children and while every life is priceless, raising children is an art! Helping others makes you happy, strong and fulfilled.’
