Welcome to the Home page of F.R.O.D.O. Foundation for the Relief of Disabled Orphans.
“To transform the quality of life, provide hope and empower orphans
in developing countries who suffer from disability or life threatening illness.”
Uniquely, F.R.O.D.O. focuses on helping disabled children, currently living
in difficult circumstances, often with poor care and little love.
Working with partners, we identify those whose lives would be transformed if they receive treatment for their disability. Often in developing countries, children suffer from disabilities which are regularly treatable in the West.
We also aim to bring about institutional transformation by working with the local medical professionals and care-givers to deliver improved standards in care to the children.
Throughout this site you can read about the many different ways we work.
Please join us in our fight for these children. “Heal a child, Help a country”
